RULES:
This sandbox follows the same rules we should all be familiar with.
-Don’t be rude(If you have a problem with someone OOC then work it out like an adult or seek out the mod)
-No Godmodding/Infomodding
-No Fourth Walling without the other player’s permission.
-Any NSFW Content MUST be marked as such with all the proper warnings.
-HAVE FUN!

Q&A:
Q: Is this a Game?
A: No. Not technically. There is a basic premise that must be followed but no application process and no AC. So, not a game.
Q: what kind of mediums are allowed?
A: All kinds except for real life people. (Fictional adaptations from movies and what not are fine)
Q: Okay, so how does this work?
A: Your first post is an ‘accident.’ Your character really needed to get ahold of someone, or they were in the middle of a conversation with someone else but then suddenly it misfires and gets sent to the wrong person.
Q: Does the misfire only get sent to one person?
A: No. Not unless the player explicitly says: misfired to (character name here). If it misfires to more than one person then it’s seen like group chat or conference call and all information is viewable to any character receiving the message.
Q: Can my character encrypt certain parts of a message on a misfire?
A: The short answer is no. A misfire is an accident and your character has no control over who it goes to. However, if a character wants to send a private message to someone they misfired too then they only have to ‘send a new message’ to that other character. (just detail in the subject line ‘private text sent to’.)
Q: Can my character hack a private text?
A: Only if they have access to one of the other party’s phone.
Q: Can my character hack another character’s phone.
A: If it is IC, and the player agrees then yes.
Q: My Character comes from a canon that doesn’t have the technology for this. What do I do?
A: There are a couple of ways to get around this! One will be introduced further down the list. Two, a mirror can suddenly display the wrong reflection(s) and act as a video call. (you can also write on the mirror)
Q: What are all the ways a conversation can misfire?
A: Your character can misfire with any means of communication available aside from face-to-face. (ie: text, phone call, IM, email, video chat, letter, crystal ball (if applicable)) They can even misfire through a door! See below for details.
Q: So my character has become pretty close with this other character. Can they visit the other one?
A: Yes. If world-hopping is a canon possibility then go for it. If not then, never fear, there is another way to visit the other character. However, it is another form of misfire and the first time is purely accidental. Basically, what happens is this: Your character encounters a door with a key hanging just off to the side. This door is actually a misfire portal into another world.
Q: What if my character doesn’t use the key?
A: Then the door stays locked.
Q: Can my character get home after the Misfire Portal?
A: Yes. But they have to go back through the same exact door and use the key again.
Q: Can my character keep the key?
A: Yes. Once they have a key they can use it again on any door to access that same world.
Q: Can my character get a phone from another world?
A: Yes. and it will work.
Q: What kind of worlds can my character find?
A: Any kind you want. If you want them to find Narnia then go for it! But keep in mind Narnia can only be found in wardrobes.
Q: Can my character be killed?
A: Not in their home world. If they are killed outside their world then they will simply respawn back at home as though it were all a nasty dream. (They may have some leftover pain though)
Q: My character is dead in Canon
A: Then they are texting from the great beyond.
Q: Can my dead Character travel between worlds?
A: a dead character will regain their physical body when traveling between worlds. So, yes. However, they cannot visit the world they originally died in unless the canon allows for ghosts.
Q: Can I canon update?
A: Yes, Your character should mostly stay within their canon world so time is still progressing like normal. Though, if you have cast mates discuss with them about canon updates first.
Q: What is the flow of time like?
A: One day IRL = One Day IC
Q: Are OCs acceptable?
A: Yes.
Q: What about Canon OCs?
A: Yes. However, if they are a canon character’s long lost relative clear it with the other player first or else they must be in a different universe.
Q: So about AUs
A: Acceptable. Just make sure the other player is okay with their character meeting an AU version of themselves or their friends.
Q: So how many characters am I allowed?
A: There is no character cap. Just keep in mind it is always more fun to play with other people.
Q: I need to go on hiatus!
A: You mean: My Character is Outside of the Coverage Area and can’t be reached.
Q: I need to drop. Is it a drop?
A: Your character’s phone or means of communication has been reported lost or stolen and they no longer have access. )8 (Kindly just remove your character comment from the Character List, these things happen.)

A: Just join, add yourself to the Character list, the send a Misfire.
